Travel across its part, the Island of Samoa, which years ago was inhabited by a bloodlusting cult of the Hasisians and still hides their dark secrets. We have put in a great amount of work to bring you a mature storyline with many choices and consequences...
During the gameplay, you will get at your disposal a completely new world created from scratch, spiced with an original soundtrack. There will also be full Polish dubbing, English and German localization available at the release date, and new mechanics.

The Kingdom of Elea lies far to the east of the Eastern Archipelago, therefore its contacts with the Kingdom of Myrtana have been very limited. It was founded centuries ago by the ancient Builders, whose influences were also present in Jharkendar. The Kingdom was not endangered by the war with Orcs, but it does not mean it was a peaceful land. Approximately 500 years ago, on the Eleian land, appeared a woman named Hatiret, who declared herself a goddess. The dispute regarding her true nature still holds, however it can't be denied that she had enormous magic power and the charisma of a true-born leader. All that allowed her to amass numerous bands of opportunists, leading to the formation of an army with which Hatiret tried to overthrow the king and take the throne for herself. In the end, her troops lost, and the king's men forced her army to retreat. They took shelter on an isolated island, Samoa, where she ordered the raising of a city and started the cult of Hasisians, being its center of worship. Soon after that, she mysteriously disappeared. Despite that, her cult was developing rapidly. The Hasisians have designed and built very swift ships called drakkars. Using them, during the next centuries they had sown terror in the Eleian hearts, capturing their ships and sacrificing enslaved sailors to Hatiret.
Ultimately, about 100 years ago, King Sireus V of Elea led an assault on Samoa, completely crushing Hasisian defences and wiping out almost every one of them. The island fell into the Eleian hands, however some descendants of the last surviving Hatiret followers can still be found. During the fighting, desperate Hasisians have cast a curse on the city of Hasis, killing every living creature inside the walls. As a result of these events, their secrets and treasures remain unfound up to this day...
Today, the Kingdom of Elea is ridden by chaos. The power struggles between the royalists, water mages, and noblemen had weakened the country significantly. Soon after then, the pirates under the command of Hannibal had decided to seize their opportunity and invaded the Kingdom.
The war ravaged Elea like a grave sickness, but lately more and more eyes have been turned upon the Island of Samoa – now calm and peaceful – and its hidden riches...
The world and its locations
The Island of Samoa was created by our 3D artists completely from scratch. In this new world, you will be able to visit numerous diverse locations. Below, you can get to know them a little bit better:

Non-playable characters
We have made sure to create our characters in a way to make them appear as multi-layered, colorful, and realistic. In Golden Gate 2 the characters will reappear across the whole game, and you are going to know them better and better as the story goes. We wanted to avoid the situation where NPCs are only simple quest-givers. Here, they are a vital part of the world. Moreover, we have designed whole plot-lines dedicated to characters who are most important to Morris. He will even be able to form a romantic relationship with one of two women.
Below, you can get to know the most important characters for the main hero:

Alrik
Morris's stepfather and the leader of the woodcutters. He rules the camp with a firm hand and strictly forbids his men to drink alcohol. Principles of living in symbiosis with nature are very important to him, as he wholeheartedly believes in Silvan, the Woodward. He treats Morris like his own son and has a very warm relationship with him.
Quest design
The modification has over 70 extensive, diverse, and non-linear quests. Almost every one of them can be completed in multiple ways or has a choice resulting in a different outcome. Your choices will have consequences! They will shape your ending, what faction you will join, which characters will live and how their story will go, or what award you will get for a quest.
Because of that, to fully experience the prepared content, it is best to play the modification at least twice, as your choices will result in different gameplay.
The quest themes are heavily diversified. You will play both the quests that are serious and will make you reflect and the ones that are more fun-oriented, even comedic. You will have an opportunity to take part in the search for ancient plans, as in a good adventure movie, or to drink some beer while sitting with friends by the fire. There will be no shortage of puzzles, arena fights or bosses.
Our top priority was to make the gameplay diversified, so it will not make you bored at any of the stages. The side quests are spread across the whole game. Thus, there will not be a situation where a certain chapter does not offer anything other than the main story.
Main character - Morris
The main character is Morris, a young hunter. He lives on Samoa his whole life, which has a significant influence on gameplay. Most characters already know Morris and have a specific opinion of him. Of course, as a consequence of your action, you will be able to shape those opinions anew. You can improve Morris's relationships with people or antagonize them. Your choices matter, and you cannot please everyone!
It is up to you what kind of person Morris will become. A kind-hearted man who helps everyone, never thinking about his own gain? A cunning fox who cares only about himself and believes that the end justifies the means? Or someone in between? It will depend on your choices!
Morris's main goal is to discover his descent. To do that, he must leave the island, but it will not be so simple, as fate is a cruel mistress, and she will set many obstacles right before him...
The hero will be tangled in the intrigue with far higher stakes than he would ever imagine. Your choices will shape the destiny of the island, and maybe even of the whole Kingdom...
Soundtrack
All of our soundtrack was created by our composer, Adam Dzieżyk, exclusively for our modification. We have put in a lot of work to make the music reflect the locations and events. Almost every one of the more important parts of the island has its own theme. The music during the day will differ from that played during the night. Our soundtrack consists of over 20 tracks, and you can listen to its sample below:
Dubbing
We have made sure to prepare dubbing to the highest possible level and to match every voice with every character perfectly. There are about 65 actors in the cast. Mainly, they are hobbyist fun-dubbers, professional voice actors, popular internet content creators, and brand-new talents. You can listen to a sample of our dubbing below:
New mechanics
In the modification, there will be no shortage of the new mechanics. Such as:
- Fast travelling by signposts
- Boss-fights with multiple stages
- Opponents on the arena are using tricks (i.e. knocking down)
- Subdivision of statistics into permanent bonuses and learned attributes
- Expanded shrine functions
- Original drinking competition
- Many new animations
Art and animations
For our modification, we have prepared many new textures, 3D models, armors, and weapons. All created exclusively. Many original textures were enhanced. There will also be new animations (i.e., rock climbing) and cutscenes created in Blender.
